Easter is such a fun time of year. The snow is melting and the days are getting longer and warmer. We have had an interesting winter this year in Utah and actually had a lot of surprisingly warm days. What’s it been like where you live?

I always get excited when the seasons change and while I actually really love winter because of the empty hiking trails, snowboarding and skiing as a family, and getting to dress in lots of warm layers, I love the ease of just stepping outside in a t shirt and not having to rangle the kids into their snowsuits and boots.

Easter is such a special holiday and giving Easter baskets to our kids has been something we have participated in since I was little. I don’t usually go crazy and like to come up with a few toddler Easter basket ideas to help get my kids outside as the weather warms up.

Guess in 10 Junior Card Game: This game is so fun for kids and helps them develop deductive reasoning skills (probably a lot more too). Kinetic Sand Sandbox

Kinetic Sand Sandbox: We love kinetic sand at our house and I love to just put it outside for the kids to play with. If you don’t need the container, you can just buy the kinetic sand refill bag!

toddler Easter basket ideas swimsuit

Swimsuits

Swimsuits: Swimsuits are such perfect toddler Easter basket ideas since it’s almost time for pools to start opening up. I love this one because it has safe ingredients for babies over 6 months old.

toddler Easter basket ideas snorkel mask

Snorkel Mask

Snorkel Mask: We got this for our 4 year old right before our trip to Costa Rica and it was a hit! Both my 4 year old and 2 year old loved wearing it in the pool. It is a great design and even if water gets in the snorkel, they don’t breathe it in because they don’t have a tube in their mouth. If you don’t think they’d use the snorkel, a pair of goggles is always a fun idea and these got great reviews for toddler goggles!

3-in-1 Lego Sets

3-in-1 Lego Sets: You can never go wrong with a Lego set, at least in our house. My 4 year old is obsessed and we especially love these 3-in-1 sets because they get to take them apart and build something new without having to buy more Legos. Saranoni Blanket

toddler Easter basket ideas blanket

Saranoni Blanket: This is definitely a splurge but they do have cute lovies for under $25. My kids fight over our Saranoni bamboo blanket at home and it’s the only one they both want to use so I think they would be so excited to have their very own. The toddler size is perfect but if you have a new baby they have mini blankets and receiving blankets. The Peter Rabbit print is especially adorable.

Ant Farm

toddler Easter basket ideas ant farm

Ant Farm: While this might be more of an inside thing for your kids to take care of and watch, I think it can peak kids curiosity and make them wonder what the ants are doing outside. It’s a fun look into what the ant hill in your backyard looks like underground.

If your kids aren’t into ants, a butterfly kit is another fun way to watch nature work inside your house.
