This is of course my own experience. I’m not saying this is the best or only way to go about having an unmedicated birth.

The day after having a baby really feels like a whirlwind. I mostly just laid around feeding and snuggling baby boy, eating, and reading. I love our stay in the hospital but it’s also nice to head home when it’s time.

A little look into how my birth went 🤍 This birth felt drawn out because I was having sporadic contractions a couple days before I actually went in to labor. But then it also was intense and fast at the end.

I will share a story time soon when I have time to sit down and write down all my thoughts. For now, I’m enjoying being in our newborn heaven.

Learning new things as an adult is hard and kind o

Learning new things as an adult is hard and kind of scary. I didn’t grow up snowboarding (obviously). But my husband taught me after we got married. It took me multiple seasons to feel confident and now it’s something I look forward to!

I’m still not the best and mostly stick to greens and blues, but feel proud that I kept trying even after endless falls and what felt like I’d never really master it.

What’s something you’ve learned as an adult that has been really rewarding?
