This years round of up some of my favorite outdoor gear, at home favorites, or ideas I have on my radar for my friends and family as Mother’s Day gift ideas for 2026.

I’ve tried to include items at a variety of price points, because a meaningful gift doesn’t have to be over-the-top. As a mom, really a handwritten card, a thrifted gem, or an inside joke can make any gift even more special.

Gifts Under 25 Dollars

Darn Tough Socks: These are a great mid ankle pair that are nice and light, but still durable. I love wearing these with boots or hiking boots. Darn tough has a great return policy, and you can literally exchange a worn pair of socks for a new pair when you wear them out-no receipt necessary. No friction, and these always stay in place. And how cute are these?

Coghlan’s Multi-Spice Shakers: All the seasonings you want on the go. Mess-free, and each lid has a good seal keeping everything fresh. Easy to refill or switch out a spice if you have a different preference. Great to have on hand for any camping trip.

Under Cabinet Jar Opener: Would be a great gift for a Mom or Grandma. Simply install under a cabinet and it makes jars much easier to open. Works awesome on the most stubborn jar lids.

Portable Mini Air Pump: This little pump doubles as a flash lights, pump, or vacuum for air tight bags. USB-C rechargeable and comes with a few different nozzles for a variety of things. I tuck this into my pool bag to inflate floaties and always take it camping for any air matressess or pads.

Titanium Long Handle Spork: This is one of my favorite purchases that had made backpacking and camping so much more enjoyable. This long handle spork is designed to be used with a packaged dinner like mountain house meals or something out of bag. With a normal spoon your hand gets dirty reaching into the bag, but this solves that problem. Would make a perfect Mother’s Day gift for someone who love clean hands and convenience.

Silk Pillowcase: Silk pillowcases help your hair retain moisture and keeps it shiny and healthy. I think everyone should have one, but especially women with curly hair. I adore mine.

Refillable Aluminum Free Deodorant: I’ve been a fan of Wild for a few years now, and this would be a great gift for any women who loves sustainable self-care. They also sell a mini set which is perfect for travel or tucking in a purse. Purchase once and they grab refills as needed.

Kula Cloth: This is a reusable antimicrobial pee cloth, which may sound a little gross, but seriously you can’t knock it until you try it and would make the perfect gift for any backpacker. Use and then snap onto your backpack and tent and it keeps everything dry and clean on the trail.

Altra Trail Gaiter: Lightweight, and great for keeping dirt and debris out of your shoe on the trail. You can wear these with shorts, or under or over pants.

Bio-Collagen Mask: The skin reset every woman loves. Super hydrating, and stays in place well. Helps my skin feel smoother and more moisturized for a few days, especially after traveling.
Gifts Under 50 Dollars

I keep it in my car so we can use it in any of the many situations where it can make me or the kids a bit more comfortable. Perfect for the mom who loves to hike and backpack! I have loved and used my seat cushion on hundreds of hikes. It’s perfect to sit on when the trail is a little muddy or covered in snow, I have changed many diapers on it, and used it to kneel on when I’m backpacking and getting stuff in and out of my pack.

Porch Goose: This little guy has brought so much joy to our porch, and my kids love changing out his outfits with each season. A fun, whimsical gift for any mom. Would look cute in a garden too!

Packable Travel Blanket: Look no further for the perfect car or airplane blanket. Packs down small and you can throw in the washing machine. Surprisingly warm for it’s size, my daughter and I have both loved this blanket on long cold flights!
Gifts Under 100 Dollars

Trail Magik Kid Carrier: This carrier is a lightweight and compact carrier for carrying toddlers during outdoor adventures. It was originally designed to give kids a break on backpacking trips and easily clip to your backpacking pack. But it can be used on day hikes, around town, and when you’re out traveling. I’ve loved mine for years, and used it will all my kids!

Amazon Kindle 16GB: I absolutely love my Kindle. I love using books to unwind and relax and my Kindle lets me always have a book on hand. It’s nice and lightweight so great to bring when traveling and even backpacking. Would be the perfect Mother’s Day gift for any book lover, or want to be reader.

Hex 2.0 Chair – Lupine: Rachel Pohl does it again, how cute is this chair? As functional as it is cute, it perfect to pack up to sit around camp, backyard picnic, or tuck in the car for sporting events.

Solar String Lights with Detachable Power Hub: We added these to our pop-up tent trailer and it added the perfect touch of magic. They are solar powered, but the power hub detaches making it super mobile and easy to use in a variety of places.

Deep tissue massage gun: Small and mighty, this handheld massage gun comes with a few different heads and works so well. Battery life is excellent, and is a great way to recover from exercising, hiking, or momming.

Yeti Utility Bag: High quality, and holds a ton of stuff. Great to keep in the car for grab and go activities. The exterior is wipeable and easy to clean. I also like that the bag stand up on it’s own. Perfect to take to the mountains, beach, or soccer games.

Kelty Lowdown Couch: Works great for three adults, or one adult and lots of littles. We love sitting on this and sharing a blanket around the fire or reading together outside.

Ergobaby Omni Breeze is a versatile, all-in-one baby carrier designed to grow with your child from newborn through toddlerhood (7–45 lbs). Made with soft mesh, it’s one of the most breathable structured carriers on the market, keeping both parent and baby cool during long days out. With four carrying positions, padded straps, lumbar support, and thoughtful extras like storage pockets and a UPF hood, it’s built for comfort, durability, and everyday adventures. Would make the perfect Mother’s day gift for an expecting mom or a mom looking to upgrade any wearable baby carrier.

Zip-off Pants: Cotopaxi just released these zip off hiking pants, and as someone who has tested a lot of gear, these are winners. Lots of pockets, a great short length when zipped off. They come in different colors and can be interchanged if you wanted to personalize or mix up the color scheme.

Smith Bobcat Sunglasses: These sunglasses are perfect for running, hiking, mountain biking, or ski touring. They have interchanges lense for low-light days or full sun conditions. They work as a great wind protection for your eyes but also fit well and easily stay on with a thin frame. A great multisport pair of sunglasses for any adventurous mom.
